New Baby (rescue kitty)

20190421_101046

So this little girl had been lurking around in our back woods for a few weeks. The hubs heard her meowing as he worked on my truck and called to her whenever he could.

He finally coaxed her out of hiding, and eventually close enough to put food out for her to smell and see. She gobbled it right up. This went on for about a week he attempted to touch her, which she gladly let him.

We continued to feed her and show her love until April 18th. There were strong storms predicted and I didn’t want to leave her out there…she didn’t seem happy with the shelter we had made for her.

So, we brought her into the house. I am so glad we did. We had tornado alarms all night. The weather was horrid at times.

My other three cats seemed un-phased for the the most part…a little hissing back and forth was all.

This little girl had to have been in a home previously. She wasn’t feral. She wasn’t little box trained either, but only had one accident before learning to use the box, so she is very smart.

She is very attached and has bonded with the hubby. He is happy with that as all the other cats are mine. I AM THE MOTHER OF CATS!!

He took her to the vet the next morning, and she had worms of course, was only 6lbs of skin and bones, and is appx. a year old.

We have named her Windi  – yanno, since the tornado stuff.

Its been almost a week now and she is fitting in just fine. She is getting lots of sleep, loves to curl up on the hubs when he sleeps, and is navigating around the house on her own at her own pace.

The other cats are giving her her space, well, except Lil Man…he wants a playmate so badly. Though even he just gets close enough to sniff her.

She is extremely loving. She sits on me and rests her head on my shoulder as I pet from head to tail, as she purrs softly. However, when the hubby is up and about, she is all Daddys Girl.

In two weeks she goes back to the vet to be spayed and get her boosters – then the other three cats need their annual check ups.

Busy cat lady me!

Be sweet! <3

A New Direction

Hello my sweets!

As you can see by looking around, I have made some changes to the site. I have taken down my book and some other pages, because, really, sales are down and the book can be found anywhere.

Why the change? Its time to branch off in a new direction. My tags will change, my content will change.

Whats to come? More talk of gaming, more talk of writing (no change there) and some more on the things that fascinate me the most in our world…like serial killers and news items.

Oh, there will still be plenty of talks of my daily hilarity that is called my life, and plenty of talk of the kitties and their adventures in driving me mad.

The book and movie reviews will be back, as I love doing those.

Of course, the occasional rant will find its way into the pages from time to time, because I am small and can only contain so much rage.

You will also find that I have an added website. I took my ‘Clattering Keyboard’ blogger site off google and gave it its own fancy smancy domain. It is listed under my real name. It WILL, at time, have different content. You can find it at www.clatteringkeyboard.com if interested.

Please keep in mind, I am not done with either site. The listing for the Bloodletting game is not quite complete, as I have a lot of content and explanations for the game yet to go.

Now, as for the difference in the site, as I’ve said, this site may have content different than the other and vice versa.

Its funny, and kind of weird, to be in the world as both Zoe Ambler and Beth McMarlin.

I have a friend I met online under the name Zoe, and we now meet face to face every few months for a lunch date and she insists on calling me Zoe rather than my real name. I am simply her ‘Zo Zo’. And I love it.

A note on the kitties. All three are terrors and I think they are plotting something because suddenly all three are getting along really well. Definitely plotting.

So, thats the update for now.

Be sweet to one another, my darlings. ~mwah~
